Is it those that try in vain that are the one's who have a broken life? Is it those that never try at all who have a broken life? Is it those that believe success is the only answer have a broken life? And what is a broken life exactly?

The whole concept of a broken life is something that has intrigued me lately. It is thrown around the net a lot, often in reference to people, who are loosing the game. The whole theory behind this concept is that people who follow scams, and delusions eventually break down, and realized that they have spent a long time chasing fake dreams. The value of living their life was forfeited for the belief that something would come from largely a vacuum.

The question is how much is this quest for significance really worth? Are we really repelling key people from us who could fill the void and need for emotional attention? Where are we getting the fuel for our soul anyways?

I believe these are questions worth asking. There is a lot that goes into our motivations in life. There may be nothing wrong with wanting to achieve success. After all most people would benefit greatly from some more money. But we must also, if the concept of a broken life holds true, we must then be weary of the mouse traps and as a result not take any particular path or truth so seriously.

What is your opinion on the subject matter?

There is a lot of bad water swishing around online about the importance of not trying to make money. To some degree I guess we can make sites purely for the pitch and leave ourselves invisible. Search engines will definitely do the work for us. On the other hand some people claim that social media is more critical and that going after money is not good. Unfortunately probably the reason that people think like this is that they have never needed money, or do not comprehend the impact that earning money has on their lives. First of all if someone does not have very much money then gaining access to it is extremely difficult. Most people end up entering long and tiring jobs, and usually end up in a much worse financial situation than where they started. If you are in this situation than wouldn't making a few bucks here and there online be helpful? On the other end of the spectrum people have hard lives because they do not have much money. They are forced to be in bad living situations, with people they do not like. Perhaps they live on a busy crime filled corner and it would be a big life changer if they could slowly save some money to put to helping their situation. Money can really free people. For example if someone dreamed of being a real estate investor earning some money could go to help their investments. Even if it took ten or twenty years of honest online work imagine how well off we would be earning a revenue stream online coupled with a property that we rent. After all life is really a series of revenue streams in or out of our pocket book. Often if we can not get substantial goods like property that generally hold value then we are often stuck at the vices of society and the challenges that it brings us day to day. It can be hard walking to work for instance. A little bit more money over time could purchase a car. Or we may not have enough money to buy food to eat then a little online cash could help us fill up on supplies at the grocery store. In some sense the people who are sending out the messages that we should not use the Internet for money are a bit confused. First the web and its infrastructure looks the way it does because of money. Google for instance is a for profit organization. Microsoft also drives a profit. EBay is a publicly traded stock company and so is every other site that people can think of. Just look at how sites battle for search spots. Most webmasters whether they will admit to it or not play heavily into the affiliate and AdSense niches. And people who isolate a great niche and do a good job making some content and creating a sales funnel can make a substantial amount of money. I am sure that their lives are much different today then when they did not have money. I want you to succeed too online and in life. Please try making money online today. It could improve your life. And that is what it is all about.

When I first started Shroom Heat I had no intention of making money on it. I thought because AdSense is called AdSense that people merely add the sense together. I expected to collect that hundred dollar check in a hundred years. After all that was how long it would take making a cent online a week. Well since then my sites have gotten better. Shroom Heat for example before the big take down ranked well for page rank related topics. This is extremely silly because I know little about page rank or Google. I just felt funny pretending to sound like everyone else.

The one thing that has really struck me with Shroom Heat is people's lack of comprehension on what it is about. I wanted to start a blog that had no meaning. I wanted a blog with no guidelines or niche to bore my socks off. I wanted just a site with a weird name. Well people took issue to that. I am not sure why this is the case. After all I personally do not waste my time reading every obscure web log on the Internet.

At the same time I laughed over and over at the comments that were something like 'beep.' It is clear to me who I was and am mocking. Hey that is just my nature. I am extremely cynical and sarcastic to the bone. I do not trust people. And I definitely do not take people seriously who take themselves or the external factors to seriously. But I guess a pointless blog hit people in the heart.

This might have been their thought, 'poor noob, if only he knew as much as I do now(even though I have wasted my life online and have not struck rich). On the other hand that noob seems to have a lot of life. Why don't I steal his wind so he never succeeds online.'

It is preposterous that people can be threatened by a person like me who takes nothing seriously but hey that is where society will lead us all unless we listen to ourselves.

If any of those people who I angered are out there I want to say this. I never plan to shake your hand or say a prayer for you. But banking from the world of trouble you are in probably a bystander has. Get a life. Do not stress over the path or the destination. Neither really matter.

Lately I have been thinking a lot about life. Where things are going and where it is taking me. Looking back on last year I am amazed how long ago it seems and how things just keep moving to different things.

This site Shroom Heat dot com for instance has some old pictures off of an old cell phone. I think I still have them on Picasa. One thing that amazes me is just how radically different my perspective on my life and self is. Things that amazed me last year, now draw no interest from me what so ever.

On the other hand things that I could not conceive last year seem very special right now. But I know that in a year whatever that was will be gone and replaced by the next thing.

For instance I took up skateboarding again for the first time in years. For a few months it seemed amazing. But now honestly I never want to skateboard again. It is not that I am hurt, but rather skateboarding after a few days gets so boring.

I kinda like casting things aside and going for the latest and greatest thing. Some people tell me that I change every week. I feel like I change every day.

But sometimes I feel like I fool myself and I get stuck in these weird ruts.

Like I think that I am something and I totally forget who I was, who I am and who I will be. Many people advocate keeping it real, but when I do that I feel like I am stuck in the past.

There is a fine line that I can never find. And If I go too fast and chase dreams and aspirations once again I forget who I am. Life is full of some weird choices with some pretty surreal outcomes.

Shroom Heat is the first blog domain that I ever have taken out. I have owned this domain for over a year. I know I am a newbie but the prospect of putting stuff out on the web excites me. Owning my own domains is probably one of the coolest thing I have done in my life. As a kid I loved video games. The Nintendo was great and so was the game boy. I played those things forever. The Internet is much like a game. It is fun to put stuff out there and try things. On a bad day I get some money. On a good day I get some more money. And on the best days I am amazed at how much money I make. But really the Internet to me is not about money. I realized it is about community. It is not what we can do in life but who we meet along the way. I realized what a gift the Internet is. It is the perfect escape and probably more relaxing than going on vacation. Ah the summer! And I digress.

Back to my talking points. Basically the old Shroom Heat had some issues including a lot of bad content, some template mistakes I made messing with the script, and some other issues.

I decided to scrap it and start over. I hope to keep Shroom Heat pretty minimal. I really want to stay on the topic of Shroom Heat whatever that is or was. At the time the domain Shroomheat.com made a lot of sense. It seemed like amazing branding. This blog has done well and is actually surprisingly my biggest money earner. So I know there is power in a relatively meaningless concept. I guess the secret is not to try to hard. Live is full of secrets. I just never pick them up.

Some of my other projects online are taking up much more of my time so I hope to keep this site as an occasional weekend journal. Luckily no one reads Shroom Heat dot com. Luckily!

I am thinking it would be good for a company that sells hot cooked mushrooms. With so many niches out there I am sure someone will want this site desperately. Hopefully Shroom Heat is a gold mine.
