3. expanding your mind. shure everything is relative and school is just guarding gates but it is very stimulating to be in company of people who are specialists and the top of their field.

4. mobility- you can change your life style and people will more likely villify your existence which is especially good if society oppresses you in any way

5. more people will listen to you at work, at home, and in life. with a graduate degree your prescense will turn heads

6. it will give you an objective to work for- oftentimes having to achieve something forces us to achieve it



the negatives on grad school are...

1. its money that could be saved or invested- school is pricy and often times the rewards are diminishing in this changing world

2. you will be over qualified for many jobs so people simply wont hire you reguardless of what you do or say- and part of this has to do with their own job security

3. grad school is time consuming. life is short is a clichet but we have very few years especially as an adult ask your self is this the right thing for me given my values ideas and feelings if not then do what you love and dont think twice let some one else slave their life away in the books

4. sometimes it can be bettar to experiment in your field of interest working before taking the grad school plunge

5. you may not finish and school tends to be worthless unless you get that funny piece of paper

6. im out of thoughts but many more exist both positive and negative


i believe education is important
